Beyond the Headlines: Truth, Power & Purpose will take audiences inside O’Brien’s remarkable career as a journalist, documentarian, producer and media executive. Through an insightful and candid discussion, she will reflect on the defining moments of her journey, the responsibility of telling stories that matter and the importance of creating space for voices and communities too often overlooked by mainstream media.
The conversation will be moderated by Dr. Rashad Richey, Emmy Award-winning journalist and respected political commentator. Together, O’Brien and Dr. Richey will explore the relationship between journalism, culture and social impact—while offering valuable lessons about integrity, leadership, perseverance and the power of owning one’s narrative.
