BEYOND THE DIAGNOSIS ROUNDTABLE CONVERSATION

The morning after its world premiere, Beyond the Diagnosis moves from the screen to the table. This roundtable brings together the women at the heart of the film, the filmmaking team, and healthcare advocates for an honest hour on living with HIV, confronting stigma, and building a life of purpose beyond a diagnosis.

THE WOMEN. THE STORIES. THE CONVERSATION.

Beyond the Diagnosis follows three Black women advocates living openly and thriving with HIV in the American South: Dr. Joyce Turner-Keller and Millicent Foster of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Dominique Grant of Jackson, Mississippi.

The conversation will explore what life with HIV looks like today, how stigma isolates people and how communities can change that, the role of faith communities in creating safer spaces, and why knowing your status matters. Audience questions are welcome.

FREE, CONFIDENTIAL HIV TESTING ON SITE

MPOWERR Health & Wellness of Atlanta, a nonprofit health clinic serving the Atlanta area, will provide free, confidential HIV testing in a private space separate from the conversation.

Walk-ins are welcome. Results are rapid and shared privately at the time of testing. Staff will be available to answer questions about PrEP, PEP, and connections to care.

Know your status. Live beyond.
