Black Media Honors Celebrates Minority Trailblazers

Black Media Honors held its inaugural Awards on August 21-22, 2021 at the Twelve Midtown Conference Center and honored some of Media’s Best Talent, Actors, Artists, Directors, and more. Trailblazers in the community. It was hosted by Actress Brely Evans and Pastgor Anthony Murray. It will air on FoxSoulTV.

“The vision of the Black Media Honors is to recognize the trailblazers in African American Media and other American minorities who have paved the way for the broadcasting, public relations, media, mass communication, journalism professionals of today. Many of these creators have never received their much-deserved recognition,” said Stephanie Davis, Founder of Black Media Honors™️ and CEO of Empower Media Group.

“I’m honored to have been on a team of Amazing Talent that has the strength and platform to honor such Amazing Trailblazers. This was an Amazing 1st Year!” said Derrick Wills, Co-Producer of Black Media Honors.

Guests include Grammy Award-Winning Anthony Hamilton, Stellar Award Winning Gospel Singer Y’anna Crawley, Tasha Page-Lockhart, Pastor Dr. Jamal Bryant (New Birth Missionary Church), Media Mogul Karen Civil, Kimberly Chapman (Sheen Magazine Editor-at-Large), Jeff Johnson (BET, Rickey Smiley Morning Show, NAACP), Dr. Rashad Richey (Political Analyst for CBS46, MSNBC, PeachtreeTV, V-103, Rolling Out), James DuBose (FoxSoulTV Head of Programming), Michelle Rice (General Manager Urban One & TV One), Melissa Ingram (AspireTV), Dayvsnn (Levelle Davison) of NBC Season 14 The Voice, Special Guest Mali Music, Karlie Redd, Darlene McCoy, Kenny Burns, Stellar Award Winning Gospel Artist Christina Bell, Former NBA Star Lamar Odom and more.
